WE MAKE THINGS
We boost innovation, contemporary culture, design and research in exhibition and public space, open resources and sustainability in products and brand strategies. The Index is an environmental agency and art curatorial platform which operates at the intersection of practice and research. The index introduces projects in sustainable design, architecture, contemporary art, design and art, furthermore makers and maker libraries which are functioning as a cooperative or a social enterprise.
Can art and design contribute to the world’s bigger problems, such as depletion and squandering of natural resources, population growth, consumerism and widespread poverty? In turn, can pooling knowledge and resources, re-evaluating the concept of time, and facilitating user participation help to make a strong contribution to sustainability?
The platform and network boosts social innovation and sustainability in global space. The Index works in trans-disciplinary fields for economical and ecological impact in corporates, in culture, art and design, architecture, science and research. The consultation network includes a global network of Scientists, Economists, Researchers, Artists, Designers, Architects and Publishers/Media.
