Pascale Marthine Tayou is a Cameroonian artist born in Yaounde, Cameroon in 1967. He began his career in the 1990s, and has carried out international exhibitions in Italy, Germany, France, and Belgium, among others. His work combines various mediums and seeks to artistically redefine postcolonial culture and raise questions about globalization and modernity.
